My story

I have always had a passion for the visual arts. I obtained my BFA from UMass Amherst and also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges, Belgium for a summer where I instantly fell in love with the architecture and beauty of Europe. I have traveled often to Europe since and continue to be inspired with each visit, which is reflected in some of my work.

I use a range of mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolors. My subjects aim to depict the simplicity and beauty in everyday scenes and to inspire the viewer to compose their own story around the image.

Whether it’s a landscape of still life, I want the viewer to get lost in being at that very moment in time the image was captured, and to escape the noise of their current surroundings if only for a brief moment.
